چکیده
The Coyote Community College Case Study was prepared for use in the 2000 Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Examiner Preparation Course. This report provides a sample feedback report for that case study. The Coyote Community College Case Study describes a fictitious college. There is no connection between the Coyote Community College Case Study and any college, either named Coyote Community College or otherwise. Other organizations cited in the case study are also fictitious. To learn about successful quality practices based on real organizations, you can attend Quest for Excellence, the official conference of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.

Effects of Coyote Population Reduction on Swift Fox Demographics in Southeastern Colorado
The distribution and abundance of swift foxes (Vulpes velox) has declined from historic levels. Causes for the decline include habitat loss and fragmentation, incidental poisoning, changing land use practices, trapping, and predation by other carnivores. Coyotes (Canis latrans) overlap the geographical distribution of swift foxes, compete for similar resources, and are a significant source of m...
متن کاملElectronic Frightening Devices for Reducing Coyote Predation on Domestic Sheep: Efficacy under Range Conditions and Operational Use
A portable 12-v battery-operated coyote frightening device was developed for reducing coyote predation on sheep and evaluated on fenced pasture farm flock operations (1979-1982). In 1986, the final experimental model consisted of a PVC case, a timer, a blinking strobe light, and a warbling type siren that was activated for 7-10 seconds at about 6-7 minute intervals throughout the night. The dev...
متن کاملEffects of Coyote Control on Their Prey: a Review
Coyotes (Canis latrans) are often removed from an area because of their predatory nature, regardless of the effect such removal may have on the ecosystem. Research results concerning ecosystem changes due to coyote removal appear ambiguous; however, differing lengths of coyote control can produce different results. Short-term coyote removal efforts (5 6 months) typically have not resulted in in...
متن کاملStratigraphic record of Pleistocene initiation and slip on the Coyote Creek fault, Lower Coyote Creek, southern California
The Coyote Creek fault is a major strand of the San Jacinto fault zone in southern California. Pleistocene sediments and sedimentary rocks exposed in the lower Coyote Creek area preserve a record of surface deformation, stream reorganization, and erosion that resulted from initiation and slip on the Coyote Badlands strand of the Coyote Creek fault. A well-exposed section of conglomerate and san...
متن کاملUsing faecal DNA sampling and GIS to monitor hybridization between red wolves (Canis rufus) and coyotes (Canis latrans).
The US Fish and Wildlife Service's (USFWS) Red Wolf Recovery Program recognizes hybridization with coyotes as the primary threat to red wolf recovery. Efforts to curb or stop hybridization are hampered in two ways. First, hybrid individuals are difficult to identify based solely on morphology. Second, managers need to effectively search 6000 km(2) for the presence of coyotes and hybrids. We dev...
